Sinking into Thinking on this Gray Day.
Self awareness is powerful. Have you ever been asked who you are? Not your name, but who ARE you? What do stand for? what makes you, you? We take for granted that we know, I mean REALLY know who we are. When asked, it is sometimes shocking how difficult it is for some to really grasp an answer that they are satisfied with. I mean, who are you? Who am I? When you act do you understand what it is that is propelling you to act? The motivation behind our actions is one place where we truly find ourselves, and who we are. At least that is where I have begun to find myself. Awareness is a choice, Know yourself.

ReplyDeleteBeing the Effective Leader, even if not wanting to lead it helps break down self limiting beliefs we are programmed to think.
"When you act, do you understand what it is propelling you to act? The motivation behind our actions is one place we truly find ourselves ..... " This is so key and one of the major reasons why i initially became interested in psychology and sociology .. it is here that you can find out if a person (yourself as well!) is acting from a point of genuineness, authenticity, and an honest desire to assist or if they are solely seeking to satisfy their own image of themselves as a "helper" or "leader" etc. for that sake alone! This is also motivation because most of us do have self-sabotaging sub/un-conciousnesses that we need to understand before we self-destruct in multiple areas: happiness, relationships, success, etc. Love this Dom :)
